Get Ready for the Future: The “M Series” is Almost Here
1. Introduction
All camper trailer manufacturers will tell you they have the best product at the most affordable price on the market today but few really do the research and development to back that up. Here at PMX, we have taken inspiration from our own experiences and those of our customers and used these ideas to develop the next generation in PMX Camper Trailers for the 2015 season.
Through competition, prices are becoming more affordable so owning your own camper trailer is no longer the domain of hard core 4WD enthusiasts. We know your camper trailer should be tough enough to handle the off road conditions you throw at it and it should be easy to tow without the use of an expensive 4WD, but equally as important; PMX recognise it should be packed with the options you’d expect from most modern, upmarket caravans. Camping is enjoyed by more and more families each year, in fact, we have seen a marked increase in the growth of both Caravan Park and free bush camping over the last 10 years. Australian families are starting to realise the potential holiday savings and comfort that a camper trailer offers, as well as the flexibility to visit some of the most remote areas inthe country. This has been the inspiration for the latest range of PMX camper trailers we’ve come to call the “M Series”.
2. Inspiration
In conjunction with Ezytrail, we started the “M Series” project almost 2 years ago just after the release of our second generation of camper trailers the “SY Series”, we were looking to incorporate a better build quality and a more family oriented range with practical and luxury options to make your camping experience better than ever “we think we have achieved that”.
The “M Series” is the third generation of camper trailers to come from PMX and definitely the most complete and best to date. More research and development has gone into the build quality, model line up and options list than any other camper trailer we have produced in the past.
3. Technology
For many years the camper trailer industry has remained stagnate with little or no investment in modern manufacturing techniques. PMX and Ezytrail decided to change that approach by looking at the automotive industry and the technological improvements they’ve employed over the last 20 years.
Our factory has invested more than $5M on upgrading their systems to incorporate Robot Welding Technologies, Laser Cutting CNC Machinery and Electrocoat (E-Coat) undercoating and six stage vitriol preparation baths for our “M Series” line up. This technological revolution has improved build quality so much that PMX Camper Trailers has decided the “M Series” will be covered by an Industry leading full 5 Year manufacturer’s structural warranty.
